Firewood Marketing Donates $50,000 to Nonprofit Organizations During Season of Giving Program

Employee-nominated groups support children, families, homeless individuals and other underserved people in California and Ireland

SAN FRANCISCO (December 18, 2018) – Firewood Marketing today announced that it is donating a total of $50,000 in charitable gifts to support five nonprofit organizations as part of its annual Season of Giving program, a key initiative of the agency’s Firewood in the Field charitable platform.

Employees at the agency’s San Francisco home office nominated Project Avary, LifeMoves and ACLU Foundation of Northern California, and employees at Firewood’s office in Dublin, Ireland, nominated Women’s Aid and CanTeen Ireland to be part of this year’s charitable donation made by the agency. Each organization will receive a $10,000 gift to support their programs.

The selected organizations serve a wide range of families, homeless individuals, victims of domestic violence, teen children with cancer, and other people in need. Firewood employees shared reasons why they nominated the organizations and how the groups reflected Firewood’s values during the agency’s holiday party held November 30 in San Francisco.

In other Firewood in the Field charitable efforts, Firewood employees stepped up this year to support numerous community organizations by providing pro bono digital marketing services. Firewood’s digital marketing experts offered hundreds of hours of their professional skills to help 12 charitable organizations.
