At Firewood, we truly believe that a job shouldn’t feel like, well, work. To that end, we genuinely care about what our people think and ask for their opinions—a lot. That’s why it means so much to us that this week Firewood was named “a best place to work” in advertising, marketing, media, and ad tech by Ad Age, based on input from all of us.
In a confidential survey conducted by Ad Age, employees evaluated Firewood based on company culture, employee benefits, employee development, company environment, employee engagement, and employee perks. And asked about what matters to us in the workplace, to what degree, and how Firewood rates on the things we all care about. Ad Age then selected the top 50 workplaces for the list.
We are so pleased to announce that Firewood is ranked 13th of the top 25 agencies with more than 200 employees.
Firewood was founded in 2010 on the belief that good people are good business. And our day-to-day work is guided by our core values of humility, inclusivity, authenticity, and responsibility, with employee engagement and satisfaction high on the list of priorities. By staying true to our beliefs and who we are, we tend to attract people—and partners—who share similar values. In fact, since Firewood opened its doors, turnover rates have consistently trended under the industry average and retention rates continue to rise.
Thank you to all of our employees who care about this company and the community that we’re building together. We’re so proud of everything we accomplished in 2019, and look forward to what 2020 holds. Read on for Ad Age’s full announcement.
